Business Development Professional

Our firm is experiencing explosive growth nationwide; therefore we are seeking a creative, outgoing and dynamic Business Development Professional to join our team.

Our sales professionals are responsible for the following activities:
- Develop and nurture new client relationships within a specified demographic area
- Expand within existing client relationships
- Apply various creative marketing techniques to secure in-person meetings with key managers to senior-level executives, for the purpose of selling our services to prospective clients
- Apply creative techniques to solidifying JCB's presence in the local marketplace Execute sales plans and programs to ensure profit growth and expansion
- Strategize with core team members to accomplish weekly business growth goals.
- Researches and investigates new opportunities in an effort to expand account base.
- Keep abreast of changes/updates in product lines and trends within the market place
- Work with JCB's core consulting team for client support, quotes and expediting orders as required.
- Tracks all activity in our CRM tool.
Position requirements:
- Excellent communication skills
- 4-5 years selling technology services and solutions
- Must have a proven track record of consistently exceeding sales quota in a new business hunter role, selling enterprise software solutions and professional services(experience with technical sales).
- Previous expertise in selling solutions and services related to IBM-Cognos , Business Objects, Hyperion, Informatica, Teradata, and other Performance Management technology offerings
- Demonstrated effective time management, territory management, and account management skills
- Previous experience in selling at the director level and above contacts
- BS or higher or relevant experience
- Experience with Salesforce is a plus
- Experience in an Enterprise consulting company would be a major plus
